Assist with the day-to-day operation of Park Theatre and the safe presentation of productions, hires and projects in Park200 and Park90. Responsibilities include maintaining technical infrastructure and theatre equipment, supporting in-house productions and visiting companies, operating lighting, sound and effects, acting as Duty Technician, supporting accessible performances, carrying out safety checks and maintenance tasks, and training new casual technical staff. The role requires knowledge of technical theatre practice and backstage operations, experience with ETC lighting desks, Yamaha sound systems, Dante and QLab, the ability to interpret technical plans, experience of fit-ups, technical rehearsals and get-outs, knowledge of health and safety, strong organisation and communication skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
