Join Reed Smith's winter or spring vacation scheme to gain insight into life at the firm and understand the work encountered as a trainee. Participants can experience a preferred practice or industry group, work with an experienced supervisor on live projects, join a team, and receive support from a trainee buddy. The scheme includes legal and business skills sessions, a group exercise, workshops on networking, professional etiquette, presentation skills and business development, feedback from work placements, and a final interview. Informal socials provide opportunities to learn about the firm's culture, meet trainees, and build a professional network. Participants are paid a weekly wage in line with the London Living Wage, while candidates based outside London receive a travel accommodation grant. The autumn 2027 recruitment round is for candidates seeking to start their training contract from 2029 onwards.
