The TTC Transit Operator role is a permanent full-time position. Transit Operators operate TTC vehicles and receive training that includes written and practical driving tests, homework, and preparation for day-to-day scenarios. Applicants require a valid Ontario Class G licence in good standing, a minimum Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, and face-to-face customer service experience. The TTC operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so shifts may include mornings, afternoons, days, nights, split shifts, weekends and holidays. Shifts are selected on a four to six-week rotation and are based on seniority.
