Gain qualifying work experience in an open and diverse environment with partners and lawyers who are leaders in their fields. Trainees may gain experience in Media; Corporate, Commercial and Finance, including Film and TV, IP, Broadcasting and Tech; Dispute Resolution, including Media and Communications Disputes; and Employment. Experience in Family, the Death Penalty Project and Crime may also be available. Practice areas may change and there is no guarantee that any particular area will be available to an individual trainee. Applications are welcome from law and non-law graduates. Successful candidates must demonstrate that they have passed the LPC or SQE 1 and 2 to an appropriate standard, can obtain the right to work, and have a consistently high level of academic and personal achievement, independent thinking and a desire for excellence. Financial support of up to £7,500 is available for successful completion of SQE 1 and 2 and examination fees, or up to £6,000 for those completing the LPC, with the PSC paid in addition. The application window for 2028 training contracts opened on 1 November 2025 and closed on 31 March 2026.
