Saville & Co is looking for a bright and motivated graduate in English Law or GDL to join as a trainee notary. The candidate must be a skilled linguist with fluent English and ability in two modern languages used in international commerce. Qualification as a general notary can be achieved in two years, although training length depends on existing qualifications, and trainees are expected to qualify as Scrivener Notaries. Duties include preparing legal documents in English and foreign languages and managing transactions. Study leave is provided for legal and language notarial examinations, training includes a period working in a notary's office abroad, and financial assistance is provided for academic courses. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and as part of a team. This is a full time, permanent position.
