This role requires the ability to learn complex test procedures and be trained to operate heavy equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics, computer systems, electronics and machinery will be of benefit. Duties include learning how to perform cone penetration tests and other specialised geotechnical tests, with a mixture of fly in fly out projects and local work around Victoria. Minimum requirements are a manual car driving licence and computer literacy. No experience in cone penetration testing is required, as training will be provided.
