Manage and provide direct patient care, medical direction and advice within the Critical Care Department, with administrative responsibility for the department. Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in an active treatment hospital within their specialty, a Medical Doctor degree or recognized equivalent, postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Medicine or Intensive Care Medicine, active membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons or equivalent, current registration to practise medicine in their specialty in their country of origin, current ACLS certification, previous management experience in a multispecialty critical care environment, and exemption from the MOHAP competency based assessment examination. Recent academic and teaching experience or research publications are preferred. Successful applicants will be required to obtain ATLS certification within a given time period.
