Join Smarterlite as a Product Technical Specialist, driving adoption of Smarterlite solutions during design and pre-construction stages. The role provides high-level technical support to consultants and designers responsible for building safety, sustainability and electrical services. Responsibilities include influencing product selection, advising on the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and evolving fire safety and energy-efficiency standards, supporting engineering teams with technical data and compliant tender documentation, delivering accredited CPD presentations and technical briefings, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires tertiary or vocational qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Engineering, Building Surveying or Fire Engineering, relevant industry membership such as Engineers Australia or the Illuminating Engineering Society, the ability to interpret electrical and fire safety drawings, specifications and regulatory standards, and strong communication skills with professional consultants.
