Assist individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and physical disabilities to live as independently as possible in a supported living setting. Duties include providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, supporting clients with health management, appointments and medication, helping with household tasks, developing and implementing individual care plans, encouraging social and community participation, providing emotional and behavioural support, safeguarding clients' rights, maintaining accurate care records and communicating changes to the Care Manager. Previous care or supported living experience is beneficial but not mandatory. The role requires knowledge of supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and or mental health challenges, excellent verbal and written communication skills, patience, empathy, teamwork and the ability to work independently. SSSC registration or willingness to obtain is required.
