Non-tax agents need partially or fully completed accounting studies and are recommended to have at least six months of accounting experience, while tax experience is not essential because training, supervision and practical experience are provided. Franchisees can offer accounting, bookkeeping, BAS, tax, tax planning, business advisory, benchmarking and related services, subject to qualifications and licensing. Support includes induction, ongoing technical support, training, marketing and lead generation assistance, a supervisory tax agent for non-tax agents, networking, mentoring, practice management guidance and access to online resources. Franchisees can start part-time and use home-based or mobile arrangements for up to two years, after which they must operate full-time from a suitable commercial office.
