Life-Bridge Child Care is seeking qualified substitute teachers who are available on a part-time basis or on call. Teachers plan developmentally appropriate curriculum following the lead of the children, incorporating their strengths, needs and interests. They implement an Emergent Curriculum guided by How Does Learning Happen and Early Learning for Every Child Today, with an anti-bias approach, providing learning experiences through inquiry, play and exploration. Requirements include membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, an up-to-date immunization record and TB test, a Vulnerable Sector Check, and valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification. Applicants should have training and experience working with young children and share Life-Bridge's philosophy of high-quality child care.
