Join Stormwater Sydney's maintenance team for ongoing maintenance contracts across Sydney. The role involves cleaning pits, pipes, grates and other stormwater devices, primarily manual labour with some machinery use, completing field reports and taking photos of work performed. Work in two-member teams from a utility vehicle supplied by Stormwater Sydney. Plumbing or trade experience is advantageous but not essential. Applicants should have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, good English communication skills, the ability to write reports and use technology for documentation, physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors and with manual tools, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Non-smokers are required due to the working environment. A NSW Drivers Licence and NSW White Card are required, with the ability to obtain Working with Children and Criminal Checks and a Confined Spaces certificate. Established teams are welcome to apply, and new teams may be formed with designated Team Leaders and Team Members. The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with appointments intended within two weeks.
