Complete a three-year, part-time vocational training programme to qualify as a state-certified educator. The programme is free of charge and prepares you for work in childcare centres, after-school care, primary and special schools, open child and youth work, day groups, residential child and youth care, parent-child facilities, child and adolescent psychiatry, therapeutic residential facilities, and qualified assistance services for people with mental illnesses. School takes place two days per week, with three days of practical work in a recognised socio-educational institution for at least 19.5 hours per week. The programme includes all standard educator training topics, with an additional focus on therapeutic and psychiatric work, inclusion, participation, empowerment, mental health, and collaboration in multiprofessional teams. Applicants must meet one of the stated educational entry routes and provide the required application and employment documents.
