Full-time role in a warm, lively parent-run daycare in Prenzlauer Berg. You will join an engaged team and initially work across all groups before taking responsibility from August for your own group of six siblings aged one to one and a half years. Duties include settling children into daycare, building bonds, supporting children through their daycare years, planning activities and morning circles, excursions, observation and documentation, birthday celebrations, parent work, developmental discussions and maintaining language learning diaries. The role requires state certification, enjoyment of working with children in small groups, independent and responsible work, creativity, knowledge of the Berlin Education Programme and the situational approach, and confidence in children's abilities. Working hours are 39.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 17:00.
