The Acting Company seeks a touring Stage Manager for its 2026-2027 National Tour of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Responsibilities include traditional stage management duties under the AEA Agreement and facilitating and participating in additional rehearsals on the road, including understudy rehearsals and rehearsals for the smaller school version of the play. Applicants should have at least 5 years of stage management or equivalent experience, strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull 100 lbs, stand for extended periods and navigate multiple levels of stairs. Touring, union, school, first aid and valid US driver's license experience are pluses. Candidates must be local to the NYC area. Housing and per diem are provided during the tour when not in NYC, in accordance with AEA guidelines. The tour includes NYC rehearsals and tech, national touring from February through April 2027, and a Manhattan sit-down run. AEA SM starting rate is $1011 per week.
