Fig Tree Counseling is seeking psychotherapists to join its group practice. The role provides telehealth therapy for a diverse clientele, including queer people, people of color, immigrants, asylum seekers, and survivors of human and sex trafficking. Duties include providing therapy, conducting psychosocial evaluations for immigration courts, creating notes and treatment plans independently, maintaining a weekly caseload of 15 to 20 clients plus 1 to 2 psychosocial assessments, and working some evenings and at least one weekend day. Required qualifications include an Illinois-licensed or license-eligible LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD, experience working with people of color, queer communities, and other marginalized groups, and strong writing skills. Pre-licensed candidates may be considered case by case. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in languages besides English, multicultural competence, interest in multimedia resources, group work, and community engagement.
