The Family Institute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Therapist to provide empirically informed, theoretically grounded, culturally responsive, and relationally based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. The role focuses on emerging adults and their developmental, social, and emotional needs, including life stage transitions, relationship challenges, social and cultural identity, addiction, neurodivergence, sexuality, and work-life balance. Responsibilities include mental health assessments, treatment planning, referrals, timely documentation, building and maintaining a caseload, collaboration with clients and colleagues, supervision, clinical consultation, professional development, and applying AI or automation tools appropriately. Qualifications include a master's degree in a license-eligible discipline, at least one year of post-graduate experience, experience maintaining a clinical caseload and completing documentation, and availability to work some evenings and Saturdays. This is a hybrid position based from a home office and any Family Institute office in Chicago, Evanston, or Northbrook.
