JCK Underground has an immediate opening for a Staff Structural Engineer in the underground and tunneling field in the greater Nashville area. The role requires knowledge of structural analysis, reinforced concrete and steel design, material standards such as ACI, and building codes such as IBC or ASCE 7. Qualifications include a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, an M.S. preferred or equivalent structural engineering experience, 0 to 3 years of relevant experience, the ability to manage concurrent assignments, strong communication and technical writing skills, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, the ability to obtain professional engineering licensure after meeting state board experience requirements, and willingness to travel within the United States and Canada for short-term assignments.
