Bangabandhu Primary School is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic SENDCo to maximise the progress of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the school. The role will work with the Complex Needs Provision Leader, manage the high level of need within the mainstream school, and teach English daily to a group of SEND children. The position is non-class based. The school is a rights respecting, happy, inclusive and highly successful primary school with a 15-place local authority resource provision for children with complex needs. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is a shared responsibility for all staff, governors and volunteers. Successful applicants will undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service. The role was advertised as required as soon as possible, with a permanent contract.
