Teach in the Joan Fenichel Therapeutic Nursery and League School preschool and school-age programs. Responsibilities include assessing developmental functioning and learning skills based on IEP goals, writing annual goals and intervention strategies, evaluating student progress, preparing weekly lesson plans, and instructing and supervising teaching assistants. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and NYS Students with Disabilities teaching certification for Birth to Grade 2 or Grade 1 to Grade 6 is required. Classroom or clinical experience with children with special needs is preferred.
