Special Constables are sworn peace officers appointed by the Toronto Police Services Board. They have the same authorities as peace officers and police officers to enforce a range of federal and provincial statutes whenever an offence occurs on any TTC vehicle or property. The TTC offers front line Special Constables every other weekend off, supporting work life and home life balance and employee wellness. Applications are currently closed.
