IHSPH is seeking NYS licensed teachers to support recent immigrant English Language Learners. Teachers work in collaborative, project-based, non-tracked classes and integrate English language and content instruction. The role requires a willingness to differentiate instruction for diverse language and ability levels, engage with students' social-emotional and academic needs, and participate in common interdisciplinary and content planning. Experience or interest in project-based learning, performance-based assessment, and language development through content instruction is required. International experience, dual certification including ESL, and knowledge of a foreign language are preferred but not required.
