St. Nicks Alliance is seeking a dedicated full-time lead teacher for its Small World Early Childhood Center in Brooklyn, serving children ages 2 to 5. The lead teacher will assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, address students' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs, provide a child-centered learning environment, collaborate with assistant teachers, support families, conduct observations and assessments, prepare progress reports, lead parent-teacher conferences, maintain regulatory and safety requirements, and communicate with parents through Google Classroom. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. A master's degree or enrollment in a master's program and New York State early childhood certification are preferred. Experience or willingness to learn child development practices, PKFCC, ECERS, CLASS, Creative Curriculum, TSG, and the Pyramid Model is required, and bilingual ability is preferred. Compensation is $45,000 to $72,000, with medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays and time off, learning and development opportunities, and wellness programs.
