Austroads is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage the effective delivery of Austroads projects in accordance with its Project Management Framework. The role manages multiple Tier 2, 3 and 4 projects simultaneously, including defining objectives and scope, developing project documentation, tracking schedules, budgets, risks and issues, managing consultants and stakeholders, overseeing governance and reporting, and coordinating Project Control Group or Steering Committee meetings. The role also provides leadership, development and supervision for the Project Coordinator and contributes to continuous improvement. Significant project management experience, experience with project management frameworks and methodologies, project planning and delivery experience, experience managing third-party contractors or consultants, and strong written, verbal, stakeholder management and negotiation skills are required. Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management are desirable. The position is full-time, based at the Austroads Sydney or Melbourne office.
