Design plumbing and fire protection systems from inception through complete construction documents, prepare specifications, meet with clients to develop scope, survey existing building conditions, prepare reports, and complete all design phases from schematic design through construction administration. Responsibilities also include preparing drawings and specifications, understanding NYC and utility company filing requirements and procedures, coordinating architectural and engineering disciplines, using AutoCAD in an MEP environment, and providing guidance and support for junior engineers. Strong computer skills and knowledge of REVIT models are a plus. Candidates should have 5 or more years of experience, excellent technical, communication, interpersonal and teaming skills. A P.E. license or LEED AP certification is a plus.
