National Locums is seeking experienced Senior Medical Officers and Medical Officers to join the Emergency and Trauma Department at a major hospital in Rockingham, WA. Duties include assessing, managing and stabilising emergency patients, working with senior clinicians, registrars and nursing staff, participating in trauma calls and resuscitation as appropriate, documenting clinical findings and treatment plans, managing medical, surgical, trauma and mental health presentations, communicating with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team, escalating concerns and supporting safe patient flow. Requirements include AHPRA registration, 6 to 12 months of Emergency Medicine experience, preferably in Australia, current BLS or ALS certification, up-to-date CPD and mandatory training, and willingness to travel within the region if needed. A driver's licence is preferred. The role offers flexible shifts, above-market hourly rates of $130 to $150, double pay on weekends, accommodation and travel if required, exposure to diverse emergency and trauma presentations, and a supportive clinical environment.
