The London Film School is seeking a passionate filmmaking and cinematography professional to inspire and support students in developing their creative and technical skills. Responsibilities include planning and delivering teaching, formative and summative assessment, curriculum development, student induction, research supervision, quality reviews, professional practice, industry engagement, academic administration, student mentoring and pastoral support, student recruitment, application review and interviews. The role requires extensive higher education teaching experience in filmmaking, cinematography or a related discipline, specialist knowledge of digital and analogue cinematography technologies, significant industry experience as a Director of Photography or cinematography practitioner, experience in curriculum design, assessment, research supervision and digital learning platforms, strong IT skills, a teacher training qualification and active participation in professional organisations. The post may require weekend on-call student support during term time.
