Transitions Hair is looking for a qualified hairdresser with at least 5 years' experience to join its team in Surry Hills, NSW. The role includes regular salon services and training in hair replacement for men and women, including wigs, extensions and hair systems. Once trained, approximately 90% of the role will involve hair replacement. Applicants should be confident in colouring and cutting, including colour correction. Knowledge of hair extensions is an advantage, while perming and men's barbering skills are advantageous but not essential. The role is Monday to Friday with no weekends or public holidays, flexible hours and a choice of full-time or part-time employment. Paid on-the-job training, ongoing education, a supportive team, work-life balance, competitive pay of $35 to $40 per hour for highly experienced senior hairdressers, rates starting from $33 per hour for newly qualified hairdressers, and a $1,500 starter bonus are offered. Current visa holders can apply, with potential sponsorship after one year. Overseas applications are not accepted.
