Responsible for all venue services contributing to the organisation and conduct of the event, including event media services, security, stadium venue and technology. Duties include ensuring compliance with IAAF requirements, supervising divisional directors, managing budgets, planning stadium readiness, coordinating temporary facilities, fixtures, furniture, equipment and technology, collaborating with police and relevant agencies on safety and security, maintaining technology and security requirements outside the stadium, and providing services and working conditions for the media. Senior and Deputy Senior positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university or experience managing major events. The position is a fixed-term contract for approximately 1 to 2 years.
