Develop and implement insight-driven primary and secondary research, analyse findings, and create brand application strategies. Analyse competitive environments, target markets, and consumer needs to build meaningful and distinctive brand platforms. Support new brand development, repositioning, and relaunches across industries and consumer segments, and help develop brand communication, content, naming, and creative communication concepts. Prepare briefs and strategic direction for future online and offline applications, collaborate with designers, project managers, and brand planners in creative brainstorming, and participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops. Manage client projects by maintaining effective client and agency processes, tracking project progress and profitability in QuoJob, coordinating internal and cross-team activities, supporting client proposals, timelines, contracts, creative presentations, resource coordination, and invoicing. The role requires a master's degree in business administration, psychology, sociology, or communications, experience in insight-driven research and brand strategy, familiarity with Chinese consumers and local market conventions, confidence presenting in Chinese and English, excellent English communication skills, native Mandarin, resilience, initiative, curiosity, and clear thinking. Automotive industry experience and experience independently leading brand strategy projects are preferred. The position is based at MetaDesign Beijing, China.
