Join the team as a School Security Associate and serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff. Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling building access, checking in visitors, staff, and students, conducting facility patrols, overseeing CCTV systems, managing conflicts through de-escalation, preparing incident reports, assisting the school community, confirming daily availability with the Executive Assistant, and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel. Previous security or administrative experience in a school or corporate setting is highly preferred. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are required, along with familiarity with CCTV systems, general security protocols, and conflict management. A valid security license and high school diploma are required. The role is based in a charter school setting and offers full-time, part-time, and on-call schedules, with morning, day, evening, event, occasional weekend, and on-call shifts. Pay is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with expected hours of 20 to 40 per week. Benefits include 401(k) and paid time off.
