Details.
Join Johnson Winter Slattery's seasonal clerkship program and work alongside leading lawyers across the national network on complex legal matters. Clerks gain hands-on experience across practice areas, mentoring support, a structured development program, pro bono experience and exposure to a supportive, hard-working and social firm culture. Work may include legal research, drafting documents, case analysis, client interaction, document review, attending court and meetings, administrative support, project assistance and due diligence. Sydney offers an eight to ten-week summer clerkship with two practice group rotations, running from 23 November 2026 to 19 February 2027, including a two-week Christmas and New Year break. The program is a key pathway to graduate roles, with clerks typically receiving a graduate offer for the following year upon completion. Applications should include responses to the clerkship application form, an up to date CV and a latest academic transcript.
