RND Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Right of Way Agent for its South Carolina office to assist the real estate team with researching, negotiating, and assisting with the purchase or lease of land required for construction projects. Responsibilities include assisting with real estate acquisitions and license agreements for public-sector clients, reviewing engineering plans, titles, appraisals, and public records, identifying land impacts and property rights, coordinating with owners, developers, business partners, title examiners, appraisers, and attorneys, maintaining real estate tracking systems and property schedules, preparing negotiation documents, assisting with license agreements, and assisting with real estate acquisitions. Familiarity with FTA and FHWA Federal Real Estate Guidelines, the Federal Uniform Act, Federal Relocation Regulations, and the eminent domain process is desirable but not required. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in engineering or real estate, 2 to 3 or more years of professional experience in a similar role, proficiency with Microsoft Office, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
