Rockwood Search is seeking an experienced Reinsurance Claims Specialist focused on execution and meticulous attention to detail. The role involves identifying and reporting large losses to reinsurers, calculating company nets, monitoring settlements and recoveries, reconciling reinsurance accounts, preparing renewal loss runs and monthly and quarterly claims reports, supporting reinsurer claims audits, and ensuring data quality from third-party administrators and in-house adjusters. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a related field, 7+ years of reinsurance claims management experience, strong knowledge of reinsurance agreements, analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in reinsurance software and reporting tools such as XLS, SQL, or Power BI, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CPCU or ARe are preferred.
