Solana Psychology is seeking reflective, relationally minded psychologists and Accredited Mental Health Social Workers to join its trauma-informed private practice in Coburg as sub-contractors or employees. The role involves working 2 to 4 half-day shifts per week, with some after-hours or weekend availability required and days negotiated collaboratively. Applicants must have a Medicare provider number. Experienced practitioners, as well as early-career or newly registered clinicians with strong reflective capacity and an interest in relational and trauma-informed work, are welcome to apply. Previous private practice experience is desired but not essential. Essential requirements include full registration with AHPRA or AASW, an ABN, current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance up to $20 million, current Police Check and Working With Children Check, knowledge of professional and ethical standards, the ability to work autonomously while valuing collegial connection, and excellent communication skills with a relational approach to clinical work. Desirable experience includes Level 2 EMDR training, working with complex trauma and longer-term therapy, and training or interest in relational, psychodynamic, somatic, IFS, schema or integrative trauma approaches. The practice offers flexible working arrangements, autonomy, thoughtful client-practitioner matching, a furnished therapy space, ongoing client referrals, partial administrative support, board-approved clinical supervision, reduced fees for in-house individual supervision, and optional monthly group supervision.
