Part-time position providing direct and indirect psychiatric clinical services as part of the Tenderloin Outpatient Clinic's Med Team. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, risk assessment, maintaining a caseload of adult clients, administering long-acting injectable medications, referrals, team participation, supervision and consultation, billing productivity, electronic health record documentation in Epic, and compliance with documentation standards and HIPAA regulations. Requires a current California Nurse Practitioner license, ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification, a DEA license, knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and psychiatric medication treatment, computer literacy, and a commitment to community mental health work with clients experiencing severe, acute and chronic psychiatric disorders.
