Herro Solicitors is seeking an experienced solicitor specialising in leasing and property law to join its close-knit team on a permanent basis. Flexible, part-time and working from home arrangements will be considered. Duties include preparing and advising on leases, surrenders, variations and assignments, negotiating lease terms, reviewing heads of agreement, lessor disclosure statements, agreements for lease, leases, sub-leases and licences, ensuring documents are executed within stated time frames, reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy, and building rapport with clients to provide a high standard of client service. Applicants should have experience in leasing or property law with a NSW practising certificate, high competency in drafting and advising on lease documentation, working knowledge of the Retail Leases Act, excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, strong time management and organisation skills, competent computer skills, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
