The Project Engineer coordinates and manages the flow of information to prepare and assist in executing project work. Responsibilities include planning and managing technical activities, interpreting plans and contract terms, coordinating logistics, testing and inspections, implementing safety programs, tracking project changes, updating schedules, supporting change management documentation, preparing quantity take-offs, tracking manpower, equipment and supplies against budget, and performing surveys and field layout using surveying equipment. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, computer skills including AutoCAD, construction management software and Microsoft Office, the ability to interpret construction plans and technical manuals, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a valid driver's license.
