Based at the Petaluma headquarters and reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer assists with managing assigned construction projects, regularly visits jobsites, and supports communication between Superintendents, Accounting, and Project Engineers. Responsibilities include reading plans, preparing RFIs and submittals, verifying subcontract scopes and pricing, managing project documentation and logs, coordinating material deliveries, supporting bids and estimating, administering contracts and change orders, maintaining insurance and lien waiver documentation, coordinating closeout activities, preparing client photo and construction updates, providing meeting agendas and minutes, and joining OAC meetings. The role requires 4+ years of related construction industry experience, intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, experience with Egnyte, DocuSign, Viewpoint, and Procore, the ability to manage multiple projects independently, strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to travel 20% of the time.
