Product and Consumer Duty Specialist role in Commercial Banking, involving customer interaction, internal stakeholder management, Consumer Duty requirements, and enhancement of bank products and offerings. Responsibilities include ensuring products, services and processes align with FCA Consumer Duty standards and other relevant regulations, maintaining Consumer Duty dashboards and management information, monitoring and reporting issues and actions, supporting Consumer Duty projects, developing policies and frameworks, embedding Consumer Duty principles into operations and strategy, designing and testing controls, engaging stakeholders, producing governance documentation and dashboards, monitoring customer outcomes and journeys, assessing fair value, reviewing and enhancing products, supporting product governance, developing new banking products and digital banking features, building business cases, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, monitoring product performance, and presenting proposals and updates to senior management. The role requires around 3 to 5 years of experience, strong knowledge of banking products such as lending, deposits and payments, understanding of the UK regulatory environment including FCA, PRA and Consumer Duty regulations, experience in financial services product development or management, strong analytical and financial modelling skills, and stakeholder management and communication skills. Project management experience, digital banking or fintech experience, and knowledge of SME or corporate banking products are desirable.
