Initiate, design and execute an independent project under the guidance of Dr. Chou, assist with teaching and mentoring technicians and students, apply for independent intramural and extramural funding, participate in grant and manuscript writing, lab meetings and journal clubs, and author or contribute to publications. Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent in cancer or cell biology, tumor immunology, molecular biology or a similar field, self-motivation, critical thinking, collaborative teamwork, and strong written and oral communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience analyzing large omics datasets and programming in R or Python, a background in mouse models or immunotherapy, high-impact publications, and independent postdoctoral research funding. Postdoctoral Fellows interested in academic and industry careers are encouraged to apply.
