GlobalDots is looking for a senior-level Platform Engineer to lead complex platform transformation programmes end-to-end. The role combines architecture, hands-on implementation and technical leadership, including modernising legacy systems, designing migration and automation pipelines, guiding teams through technically risky change, platform modernisation, security, content-delivery transformation, API-driven automation, infrastructure integration and production readiness. Responsibilities include assessing enterprise platforms, building target-state architecture, structuring low-risk delivery phases, developing automation tools, troubleshooting migration and onboarding issues, establishing quality gates, and working with customers on ambiguous technical work. Required capabilities include platform modernisation, migration strategy, automation engineering, cloud security, web performance, infrastructure transformation, systems debugging, technical leadership, documentation and observability, and AI-assisted engineering. The role requires 3+ years of relevant software, platform, infrastructure or DevOps engineering experience, hands-on experience with internal tools or migration frameworks, cloud platforms and infrastructure APIs, leadership of technically complex initiatives, and strong legacy-system analysis and risk-management skills. The position is full time and remote in Europe.
