People preparing individually or through a preparatory course for the external candidate examination for the educator profession may be employed, generally for a fixed term of up to two years and for up to 28 hours per week. The work may be counted towards the staffing ratio from the start of the preparatory course or, for individual preparation, from admission to the examination. The examination must be taken at the next available date.
