Work in a childcare facility while preparing individually or through a preparatory course for the non-school candidate examination. Employment is generally limited to a maximum of two years and up to 28 hours per week. The examination and any repeat examination must be taken at the next available examination date. Recognition for staffing purposes ends if the examination is definitively failed.
