People completing part-time vocational training or a part-time or dual degree leading to specialist status may be counted toward the staffing ratio upon presentation of a school or university certificate. People completing part-time training to become state-recognised educators may be counted for between 19.7 and 28 hours per week. The employment relationship should continue until the training is completed.
