Responsibilities include working under a dentist's supervision, providing chairside assistance during examinations and treatment, charting, taking and processing X-rays, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and the sterilization area, setting up and breaking down operatories, assisting with supply inventory and ordering, maintaining a clean and professional office environment, explaining treatment plans, providing a high level of customer service, and working as part of a team with clear communication.
