AEON Law is seeking a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent with computer science or electrical engineering experience and IP licensing experience. The role involves preparing and prosecuting patent applications, originating and managing clients, advising on patent design-arounds and non-infringing product designs, and negotiating, drafting, and reviewing licenses, research agreements, collaboration agreements, confidentiality agreements, and material transfer agreements. Applicants should have previous patent prosecution experience, a portable book of business of at least $150K or demonstrated ability to build one, a law degree from an accredited law school, state bar membership in good standing, USPTO admission, technological systems and MS Office proficiency, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Experience with significant patent portfolios, computer science or electrical engineering patent prosecution, IP licensing, and existing clients is highly valued.
