Support parents before and during the Initial Child Safety Conference by helping them understand and navigate the child welfare system. Duties include attending initial family safety team conferences, preparing families for conferences, explaining concerns that may place a child at risk of foster placement, helping families navigate the child welfare system and family court process, connecting families with community resources, and supporting parents in presenting their concerns. Candidates should be parents who have interacted with ACS, and any related case must be closed and expunged. Pay is $25.00 per hour.
