Support outreach strategies, community engagement, public participation, outreach programmes, exhibitions, community activities, communication materials, research, databases, event administration, and partnerships. Responsibilities include representing the organisation at outreach events, engaging members of the public and stakeholders, developing educational and publicity materials, writing website, newsletter, and magazine content, researching target audiences and community needs, tracking participation outcomes, and maintaining records. Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, a positive and proactive attitude, a passion for community engagement, and availability for occasional weekend events. The internship runs for a minimum of 5 months, with interns currently sought for August 2026 to March 2027. The allowance is SGD 800 per month, with free participation in selected NSS events and programmes and approved transport reimbursement. Eligible interns are required to apply for the NYC Youth Corps Community Internship programme.
