The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, case strategy, and trial advocacy, with experience independently managing cases from inception through trial. Qualifications include expertise in commercial litigation, maritime experience as a plus, strong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills, independent case management, and a California law license in good standing. Responsibilities include independently managing a caseload with minimal supervision, potentially supporting junior lawyers, mentoring and collaborating with junior attorneys and staff, and engaging in business development and client relationship management.
